Sustainability: a Retrospective Assessment of Diabetes Initiative Projects
One of the goals of the Diabetes Initiative grantees was to develop and implement strategies that would allow them to sustain their programs when grant funding ended (after 45 months). This report details grantee experience with successful sustainability strategies, identifies threats to sustainability and discusses key ingredients for success in sustaining programs.
